In this article, we will see the winner of the Vitality Blast 2019 final match, playoff results, points table, final match quick summary and also the top performers from the tournament. This was the 17th season of the T20 Blast (Twenty20 Cup) and it was full of entertainment and excitement. England experienced yet another thrilling cricket tournament this summer after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and the Ashes 2019.
Out of the 18 counties, 8 teams got into the quarter-finals (4 teams from North Division and 4 teams from the South Division) and finally Essex Eagles led by Simon Harmer won this long tournament. Essex Eagles beat last year’s winners Worcestershire Rapids by 4 wickets in the final and won the 2019 Vitality T20 Blast trophy.

So the top 4 teams from the North Division to reach the quarter-finals were:

2. Nottinghamshire Outlaws
3. Derbyshire Falcons
4. Worcestershire Rapids
And the top 4 teams from the South Division to enter the quarter-finals were:
1. Sussex Sharks
2. Gloucestershire
3. Middlesex
4. Essex Eagles
Knock-out Results (Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and Final Match)
As you can see Essex Eagles from the South Division and three teams from the North Division – Nottinghamshire Outlaws, Derbyshire Falcons, and Worcestershire Rapids cruised into the semis.
In the Semi-final-1 between Nottinghamshire Outlaws and Worcestershire Rapids, Worcestershire won by 1 run and confirmed their place for the final in a thrilling fashion.
In the Semi-final-2 between Essex Eagles and Derbyshire Falcons, Essex Eagles won the match by 34 runs
The big final match took place between Worcestershire Rapids from the North Division and Essex Eagles from the South Division. It was a great final which can be understood from the fact that the match went on till the last over last ball.
