November 18, 2019 By Vipul B

IPL 2020 Released players traded players retained players

Indian Premier League 2020 auctions are all set to take place in December 2019. Before the auctions, all teams, their coaches and the managements have pulled up their sleeves in efforts to build a solid team for the next season of the IPL. All IPL teams decided to make some important changes by trading some players with other franchises. They also released some players hoping to get rid of some of the weaker links. And of course, teams revealed the players who they consider as their stronger links by retaining them. Let us see one by one all teams’ released, traded and retained players before the IPL 2020 auctions which will most likely take place on 19 December 2019.

1. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Released, Traded & Retained Players

Sunrisers Hyderabad released five players, traded zero players and retained 18 players.

The released players are Shakib al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Deepak Hooda, Ricky Bhui and Martin Guptill.

SRH retained almost all their star players including Kane Williamson, David Warner, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohd. Nabi, Rashid Khan, Jonny Bairstow, and others.

Mayank Markande underwent a weird kind of trade. He used to play for Mumbai Indians. But Delhi Capitals bought him from Mumbai Indians. And the funny thing is just a few days later Rajasthan Royals bought him from the Capitals. So now Mayank Markande will play for the Royals.

Let us see which new players will RR buy in the auctions with their remaining budget of Rs 28.90 crore.
