Cricketers Wish & Express Gratitude To Nurses On 'International Nurses Day'

Some prominent names in the cricketing world took to Twitter on 12th May (International Nurses Day) and expressed their wishes and gratitude to the nurses all over the world who are fighting the Covid-19 war. Cricket stars and legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Ajinkya Rahane, Lisa Sthalekar, etc shared their thanks and good wishes to the real warriors in this crisis. Let us see the wishes and the positive tweets sent by the stars on this important day.

India’s legendary batsman VVS Laxman also shared a heartfelt message and thanked nurses for their sacrifice in this crisis.

India’s superstar batsman and captain, Virat Kohli, shared a lovely message for the nurses and also urged everyone to join in the celebration of the International Nurses Day.

The one and only Sachin Tendulkar reminded us of the importance of the silent guardians in our society and filled everybody’s hearts with gratitude for the nurses by bringing attention to the contributions of the nurses who risk their own lives while providing care and attention to the needy.

Former Australian female cricketer and current commentator, Lisa Sthalekar, not only expressed her gratitude for the nurses but also thanked her sister who is a nurse by profession.
